With only Gold and Tin remaining after their battle with Green Lantern, the Missile Men attack New York to capture Platinum, destroying Tin in the process and successfully taking her to their Moon base. Green Lantern's power ring reveals to Gold how they were deceived into fighting and offers to help rebuild the fallen Metal Men. On the Moon, the Missile Men's leader Z-1 repairs Platinum to make her his queen, while back on Earth, Magnus—fearing the worst after not hearing from the team—activates his newest creation: Syntho-Rob One, the world's first true android called "The Inheritor."
