The Coven of Seven summons demons into the world while casting a spell that begins darkening the city, filling the streets with dread. As demonic attacks break out across the city—targeting civilians, a folk music performance, and a subway car—members of the Metal Men respond while trying to maintain their secret human identities. Mr. Conan and Dr. Honorius brief the team on the threat, explaining that all seven coven members must be stopped or the enchantment will continue. The Metal Men track the Coven to a tenement building in Chelsea where the darkness seems concentrated, setting up a confrontation where the team must capture every member before any can escape.
