Platinum escapes from a volcano as her monstrous pursuer undergoes a horrific transformation into a volcano-like creature with rising temperatures. Meanwhile, the Metal Men battle desperately against the rampaging mannequin horde with their flame throwers depleted, retreating to make a last stand in a wax museum only to find the exhibits come alive and join the attack. As their responsometers malfunction causing them to turn on each other briefly, the battered team regroups with the police to present a united front, though both forces struggle to hold back the overwhelming horde.
