When Doc Magnus is killed in an explosion while testing his dimension monitor invention, the Metal Men repair the device and travel to a parallel world seeking a way to revive him. Upon entering this alien dimension, each Metal Man finds their properties drastically altered in unexpected ways. They encounter a king who promises to help Magnus if they complete three dangerous tasks: destroy the terrorizing Mechan Monster, recover a lost treasure, and navigate the deadly Maze of Madness to rescue the king's missing daughter.
