"Strike Out!"; Teachers at Riverdale High go on strike for higher wages; Mr. Lodge is head of the school board, but he isn't concerned with what the students will do; That is, until Veronica invites the school band and cheerleaders to hold their practices in the Lodge mansion, and the shop club to repair cars in the Lodge garage. "Date Strait"; Veronica is going with Marvin, the top national scholastic shot-putter; On a date, however, Marvin puts his training regimen ahead of everything else, giving Veronica second-thoughts.
