Warren Worthington is attacked by Cable, who's looking for Dr Adler. On Muir Island, Professor X tries to find out what is Dr Adler really doing in his very private, very secretive laboratory, but even his telepathy doesn't help much. When the X-Men learn that Adler supposedly knows how to "cure" mutations, Rogue flies to Muir Island, where she has a pleasant conversation with Pyro and Avalanche and remembers her fateful first kiss with Cody. Adler, who's really Mystique in disguise, is ordered by Apocalypse to transform Rogue into one of his followers.
