After the devastating events of Ultimatum, this one-shot continues where Ultimate Fantastic Four issue 60 and the Ultimatum mini-series left off. The four heroes go their own separate ways as the Fantastic Four are disbanded. The one-shot was somewhat continued in the Ultimate Enemy mini-series, in which it is made clear that one of the four has betrayed the heroes.
