THE PUNISHER

After the popular The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank mini-series the Punisher received his third mainstream ongoing series. It consists of 37 issues as part of Marvel Knights imprint. Most of the comics in this series are written by Garth Ennis but also Tom Peyer and Steve Dillon. After this series ended, it was replaced with the MAX Comics The Punisher series, which took place in a different reality from the 616 Main Marvel Universe. The Marvel Universe version of the The Punisher would return to a monthly series a few years later in Punisher War Journal Vol. 2.
