THE PUNISHER

This is the first ongoing comic book series starring the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante The Punisher, following a limited series published the previous year. It lasted for 104 issues after which this title, as well as Punisher's other two series Punisher: War Journal and Punisher: War Zone, were cancelled. Those series merged (after the Double Edge: Alpha and Double Edge: Omega one-shots) into Punisher Volume 3. This series also spawned seven annuals, as well as the annuals The Punisher Summer Special #1-4 , The Punisher: Back to School Special #1-3 and The Punisher Holiday Special #1-3.
