A Marvel NOW! series. Carol Danvers resumes her role of Captain Marvel after the events of Civil War II and Captain Marvel Vol. 6. In this series, she fought the forces of Hydra during Secret Empire. After issue 9, the Marvel Legacy event starts, in which the series is renamed Captain Marvel (Volume 7) and all of the issues of the previous volume's of Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel are counted together, making the 10th issue the 125th in total.
