In this sequel to the movie Mask of the Phantasm, as Andrea Beaumont drags The Joker into the sewer preparing her vengeance Batman's words return giving her pause in her quest for vengeance. However, she is then separated from The Joker by an explosion. Believing the man who had murdered her father was dead, she left Gotham City. Three years later, she returns. She stops a sniper from shooting Bruce Wayne at the behest of a shadowed figure who shows pleasure that Andrea has returned. While inside Bruce is being interviewed by Summer Gleason for his contributions to Gotham's orphans. The interview is interrupted when Andrea informs Bruce that someone is trying to kill him. The two are separated by a smoke bomb. Andrea jumps from the window. Bruce tells Alfred to take him home, but they are stopped by "Andrea". The woman riding to Wayne Manor with Bruce is really a deadly assassin! Kitsune forces Alfred to change direction taking the two to her boss, while Bruce begins questioning her before attempting to overpower her. Unarmed and about to be killed, he is rescued by Phantasm who drives her away. Back at Wayne Manor, Andrea then tells the story of how she has traveled the world acting as a spy, thief and enforcer to anyone who would pay her. Bruce tells her that nothing can happen between them again, yet they share a passionate kiss. Kitsune knocks Alfred out and takes his place. Andrea and Bruce are ambushed by armed men. Kitsune as Alfred knocks Andrea out. Bruce jumps from the library window into the water below and enters the cave through a drainage duct to suit up. Andrea was the target all along! Arthur Reeves hired Kitsune to hunt Andrea down. Kitsune is knocked out and Reeves unmasks Batman and learns he is really Bruce Wayne. Reeves prepares to slit Bruce's throat. Andrea steps in to stop him! NOTE: Although billed as an Annual for The Batman and Robin Adventures, neither Dick Grayson nor Robin appear in this story. The Joker only appears in flashback. Final appearance for Arthur Reeves. This is the final artwork by the late Mike Parobeck. A final page tribute and dedication to him.
