Searching for the Conclaves headquarters, Swamp Thing arrives in Gotham city where he is almost immediately drawn into combat with the police.
Gotham's resident crime fighter, Batman is also tracking down the Conclave leadership.
It all leads to a meeting between the swamp creature and the caped crusader on the doorstep of the crime boss responsible for Swamp Thing's suffering.
