SUPERMAN CONFIDENTIAL

Superman Confidential is a monthly title, which will go back to the characters origins. It will detail first meetings and confrontations. It will tell the stories that have helped to shape the character as he is today (not reprints). Superman Confidential turned the clock back to the early days of the Man of Steel's career. Each story arc was handled by a different team. Writer Darwyn Cooke and artist Tim Sale began with "Kryptonite" a six-part tale of Superman's first contact with the energy sapping green element. The story revealed a less confident Man of Steel who was trying to work out the limitations of his powers and his place n the world while dealing with Lex Luthor and casino boss Tony Gallo.
