As Superman battles a prison break on Strikers Island, Morgan Edge escapes. Meanwhile, Lois Lane tries to have a conversation with Superman regarding their relationship, they are interrupted by a call for Superman's help. She urges him to go, although it appears she would rather him stay but she doesn't want to be selfish. This seemingly marks the end of Lois and Clark's relationship.
