Two specials where made in this series, Skaar: Son of Hulk Presents - Savage World of Sakaar, set between issues 3 and 4 of the series and a prequel to the Planet Skaar event, Planet Skaar Prologue issue 1, set between issues 10 and 11. Until issue 12 this series was called Skaar: Son Of Hulk (Although issue 10 and 11 are just named "Skaar" on the cover). It was continued as simply Son of Hulk with issue 13, when it started following Hiro-Kala, the other son of the Hulk.
