METAL MEN #16

Doctor Will Magnus creates animated toy action figures for a charity auction benefiting brain-injured children. When one of his creations, Platinum, becomes emotionally unstable and flies his team's jetaway into orbit, the Metal Men inadvertently get shrunk down to toy size by aliens. After a series of mishaps trying to return to normal, they end up mistakenly given as a gift to a young blind boy. When an alien threat emerges, the boy's emotional response triggers an unexpected solution that allows the Metal Men to save Earth and ultimately deliver a special gift back to him.
