The Legion is caught in the middle of the crossfire when the sole survivor of an alien race comes to Earth to exact revenge from an ally of the United Planets.
The Legion of Super-Heroes is introduced to their first official headquarters and their newest team member, Brainiac 5. Before they can fully settle in, the Legion is called to the moon to assist RJ Brande's rival, Leland McCauley. McCauley's moon dome is under threat from the villainous Mano.
