Kamandi and his friends finally make it past the Western Wall in Australia to the Vortex, source of the Great Disaster, in which a voice addresses Kamandi by name and calls him his son.
Note: The series was canceled as a result of the so-called DC Implosion of 1978. The OMAC stories were later printed in The Warlord #37-39.
