House ad from 1994A spin-off series from Justice League Europe, Justice League Task Force first featured special one time teams of Justice League members and associates in covert operations sanctioned by the United Nations, usually lead by Martian Manhunter and including Gypsy. The title was created by David Michelinie and Sal Velluto and later featured a revolving door of creative teams, notably writers Christopher Preist (#18-37) and Mark Waid.
In the later part of the title's run, J'onn watched over a team of younger, less experienced heroes, including Gypsy, The Ray, Triumph, and Mystek, as well as L-ron (inhabiting the body of Despero).
