Preceded by the Superior Iron Man series. After the events of Secret Wars, Tony Stark returns to the true hero he was, as the Invincible Iron Man! The series is famous for introducing Riri Williams, but only lasted for 14 issues before being replaced by Invincible Iron Man Vol. 3, in which Riri Williams took over the Iron Man-role as Ironheart.
As of its release in May 2016, the title International Iron Man runs concurrently with this one. Both series are written by Brian Michael Bendis.
