Winterbrand unleashes its entire force of Augmen to find Bobby and Foe-Dog, and are told to have them brought back to Alain. It is revealed that Alain is partially an Augman himself.
Augmen are children who have had mutant features and abilities surgically grafted to their bodies cybernetically (the process kills the mutant doner and the augmentation only works on kids).
