GREEN LANTERN: BRIGHTEST DAY BLACKEST NIGHT

Written by Steven T, Seagle and painted by John K. Snyder III, the prestige format "Brightest Day, Blackest Night" turned the clock back to 1944 to show the original Green Lantern in action against the Nazis and Solomon Grundy. As Nazi spies attempted to steal the Zeta Wave Machine, which could make their forces invisible, they made a fatal error of landing in Slaughter Swamp, home of Solomon Grundy. Before long, Grundy was on their trail, like a dark force of nature. The Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott was caught in the middle as Grundy and the Nazis fought. Ultimately a train put an end to Grundy and Green Lantern's allies in the Justice Society helped him to remove the Nazis from U.S. soil.
