After two mini-series, Gambit stars in his own first ongoing series. The series lasted for 25 issues, and was finished in a mini-series named Gambit & Bishop - Sons of the Atom.
The series was canceled due to an editorial decision to produce less X-men related comics, in order to stop the overflow of X-men comics at the time. Among the cancelled comics where Bishop: the Last X-man, Mutant X and Gambit.
