Proper Japanese Title: ドカベン ドリームトーナメント編
Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. In the Dokaben timeline this directly followed Dokaben: Super Stars Hen but it also served as a 40th anniversary celebration of the original Dokaben series and the ultimate conclusion of the franchise (with Mizushima retiring from manga when it ended and passing away a few years later). As with several previous Dokaben arcs, the ultimate focus came to be a mash-up of many different manga Mizushima had produced over the decades at various publishers. With the rise of digital manga beginning during the run of this series, it was one of several notable examples of a high-profile series that did not go digital and was thus removed for the digital version of the magazine.
