This is one of three ongoing Doctor Who comics by Titan Comics in the US. It uses British creative talent despite being intended for American audiences. This volume and Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor launched in July 2014, with Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor following a few months later after Peter Capaldi's first full season started airing on TV. The three comics were later combined into one title for sale in UK newsagents in February 2015, called Doctor Who Comic.
