DEATH NOTE

English translation of the Japanese manga Death Note. Re-released in English as two-in-one volumes (Death Note Black Edition). Death Note follows Light Yagami, an ordinary and highly intelligent high school student that is bored of his meaningless life. One day out of the sky the death note falls, as if from the heavens. The Death Note is used by Ryuk, a Shinigami (death god), when a name is writen in the notebook that person will die of a heart attack in 40 seconds. Light instantly decides that using the death note he will create the perfect, ideal world that he would control.
