DARK ANGEL: PHOENIX RESURRECTION

In a time of myth and magic, where a man's worth is defined by his skill with a sword, there lies the mysterious central land of Oukoku. Oukoku, a country in a state of constant turmoil and senseless battles, is surrounded by the Lands of the Four Winds. There are rulers of each of the Four Winds known as "Phantom Saints". These saints have been given the task of keeping peace and order in their respective territories. It is believed that bringing peace to the individual territories will unite the whole of Oukoku. "Dark Angel: Phoenix Resurrection" tells the tale of Dark Yokuo who is the ruler of the Land of the South Wind and is the Phantom Saint of the Red Phoenix. Despite being a master swordsman and a skilled warrior, Dark does fully understand the ways of governing his land mainly in part due to his hot-headedness. However at his side is his trusted fairy spirit, Kyo who has always served as counsel and protector to each of the Red Phoenix saints. When trouble arises in the West, Dark And Kyo must travel to the Land of the West Wind to confront its ruler Leen, Phantom Saint of the Blue Dragon. Once they reach the Land of the West Wind the story really begins as Dark falls in love with Leen and they both have to try to bring a peaceful conclusion to the conflict with all the neighboring lands as well as deal with their feelings for each other.
