The Red Skull, Captain America's greatest nemesis is assassinated while in possession of the Cosmic Cube. But is the Red Skull really dead or does it only appear that way? Crossbones and Sin (Red Skull's daughter) believe he is dead and they want revenge on the man responsible for the Red Skull's death. Captain America tries to track down his old partner Bucky Barnes (who is on the run) and tries to put an stop to Aleksander Lukin's plans.
