Continued from Captain America vol. 5. The series was retiteled Captain America and Bucky with issue 620, writen by Ed Brubaker and Marc Andreyko with Chris Samnee on art while at the same time a new Captain America series was launched by Brubaker. The series began after Bucky Barnes apparent death in Fear Itself, beginning as a flashback to his origin story in World War II as told from his perspective. Starting with issue #629, the title became Captain America and Hawkeye, shifting it to a team-up series written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Alessandro Vitti.
