This series is continued from Captain America vol. 2 and depicts the return of Steve Rogers to the main Marvel Universe after the Heroes Reborn event! After the attacks on September 11th 2001, the series was cancelled and received a connecting mini-series named Captain America: Dead Men Running. It was then relaunched as Captain America vol. 4 which starred a more patriotic version of Captain America in which he dealt with the fallout of the attacks. This series lasted 50 issues.
