The first Black Widow ongoing series, which started in 2010 with writer Marjorie Liu and artist Daniel Acuña after the succes of Black Widow's movie debut in Iron Man 2. A new creative team of Duane Swierczynski and artist Manuel Garcia took over the series from issue 6. The series however only lasted for 8 issues. In 2014, a new Black Widow series, Volume 5, was started.
