While over at Betty's house studying, Veronica takes advantage of every instance she's alone to search Betty's bedroom for her diary. Bored, the girls wander the mall looking for a change in their everyday existence. Feeling that she's not idolized enough, Veronica hires a pair of musicians to follow her around and play a fanfare when she enters a building.
