Veronica decides that she can design better fashions than the designers in New York, but her designs only end up copying fashion trends from other eras; the Beatles appear in the 1960s flashback, which also features a caricature of editor Victor Gorelick as a hippie. Betty agrees to teach Veronica how to snowboard. Veronica samples the after school clubs at Riverdale High, but quickly wears out her welcome at each stop.
