A fanatical collector named Taddy Toadmaster wants to add the Riverdale High football team to his collection of unique items and it's up to Betty Cooper, Super Sleuther to stop him. Betty breaks a hand mirror while getting dressed and is afraid her day will be filled with bad luck. Betty's neighbor keeps allowing his kids to jump in and scatter the pile of leaves Betty keeps raking up.
