Betty goes to the beach without a date, but runs into several pleasant young males while she's there. Betty's selling ice cream novelties again. When she finds the kids' business insufficient to make a profit from, she seeks out a new customer source. Betty and Archie go picnicking in the woods, but find mother nature has other ideas. Betty and Midge go out together because they feel they're seeing too much of Archie and Moose.
