The robot warrior known as Grendel Prime comes from the future to modern day Gotham City in search for the skull of Hunter Rose the former Grendel. Before Grendel Prime can complete his mission, he must first go through Gotham City's protector, the Batman!
Events in this series take place in between the events portrayed in Grendel: Devil Quest.
