ASTONISHING X-MEN

The fouth series that runs by this name, but the second ongoing series. Masterminded by Charles Soule and a roster of top-artists, the story seems to involve the deceased Charles Xavier. But is he really dead or can he fight himself back to the world of the living! The series had an Astonishing X-Men Annual that accompanied this series. The series focusses on a new team of X-Men starting with issue 13, but ends with issue 17, after which most of the members join the Uncanny X-Men in the Uncanny X-Men Volume 5 series.
