"Penny Ante," Jughead is at the arcade with Archie and Reggie; They suggest that he try out the Marrying Machine and it prints out a picture of Big Ethel who conveniently shows up and starts chasing Jughead. "Cash 'n' Carry!" one-page Li'l Jinx story. "Mean Man," Archie is determined to let out his emotions, but Moose is already beating up another kid, so Archie decides not to let out his anger on Moose; Reggie is demonstrating his muscles to a girl, so Archie decides that can wait until later. "On Timemanship," Jughead shows Archie how to take a shortcut to keep from being late, but Archie runs into every obstacle that Jughead avoids. "Buckle Down," Archie gives Jughead a belt so he will spend a day with Reggie and leave Veronica free to spend the day with Archie; Jughead accidentally walks into a door and gets a black eye.
