AQUAMAN SPECIAL

Today he's known as the King of the Seven Seas, but before that, he was Arthur Curry, son of a lighthouse keeper. Go back to those unusual beginnings to reveal the complete inside story of Arthur Curry and the Legend of Aquaman! This one-shot special featured a semi-reboot of the character, including the concept that Arthur's Aquaman costume was an Atlantean prison uniform (which was later ignored in the 90's). The special went in to a 5 issue mini-series Aquaman (1987.) Collected in Aquaman: The Legend of Aquaman. Note: Despite the cover title being "Legend of Aquaman" the Indicia titles this "Aquaman Special".
