The X-Men team is reborn in this arc. We see the X-Men divided into Blue & Gold teams in an effort to fight the war for mutantkind on different fronts. Issues 1-3 are highlighted by the return of Magneto and a shocking secret that will change the life of Moira MacTaggert forever. We also see the birth of a new villain in the form of Fabian Cortez and his team of Acolytes.
Issues 4-7 mark the debuts of Omega Red & Maverick, two men from Logan's forgotten past. The x-Men travel to Germany to save Wolverine from the Upstarts, the Hand and Omega Red.
