Following the disbanding of the X-Men, former student Pixie finds herself back in her hometown in Wales. There mysterious disappearances have been occurring, causing the young mutant to phone for her former friends and mentors of the X-Men.
Pixie discovers that the creatures of the N'Garai have infiltrated her town and no one else seems to be able to see them but her. As she is captured by the creatures, the X-Men arrive in time for help.
The creatures hideout is a mine in which Pixie's father died in many years ago. While the X-Men instruct her to retreat because of this tragic fact, she continues side by side with the X-Men until the defeat the creatures.
As the X-Men leave, Cyclops invites Pixie back to their new school where she will also serve as an official X-Man.
