Continues from Classic X-Men 45.
This series reprints one issue from The X-Men (X-Men Classic #46 - Rage!) and reprints The Uncanny X-Men until The Uncanny X-Men #206 - Freedom is a Four Letter Word, with the exception of the Days of Future Past issues from The X-Men #141 - Days of Future Past and The Uncanny X-Men #142 - Mind Out of Time!. They would fall in between X-Men Classic #46 - Rage! and X-Men Classic #47 - Demon. This is also the point in the original series where it renamed from The X-Men to The Uncanny X-Men.
With the renaming of this title there was also a format change. The backup stories, internal story edits, and additional editorial notes are dropped. They are now straight reprints of the source material, with the obvious exception of the advertisements. Advertisements, which were absent from Classic X-Men, are also introduced beginning with X-Men Classic #48 - Even In Death.
