Collision with the Shi'ar! Cable and his commando crew are not only dealing with a fugitive cyborg…they also have to contend with one of the galaxy’s most elite task forces! SynopsisTransmissionA rogue Kree vessel escapes Shi'ar capture and enters the Milky Way. It's lone passenger, a cyberorganic construct spy named Pulse, is soon targeted by a Shi'ar ship. Pulse transmits himself to the only inhabitable planet - Earth - and to the only alien-technology-combatible place - the Danger Room. In the Danger Room, Cable runs his X-Force team through a new scenario that seems to play into Sunspot's Askani knowledge. Things go awry, however, when Pulse enters the system. X-Force works together to hunt the anomaly, which is Pulse changing from Ultron to Deathlok to Warlock. To make matters worse, the Danger Room is unable to hold one simulation, and X-Force must run a gauntlet of changing scenery, including rush hour New York City, feudal Japan, and the Savage Land. Cable and Domino make a call to the Shi'ar - the designers of the Danger Room - and learn from Warbird that the anomaly is a rebel that must be apprehended and turned over to the Shi'ar. As X-Force finally learns to shut down the simulations, however, the anomaly busts out of the mansion. Cable is able to locate the being, subdue it, and X-Force learns of its mission. Before the team can come up with a plan, the Shi'ar arrive and things get tense when they demand the being be handed over. Before a fight can begin, Warpath throws Pulse's body at the feet of the Shi'ar. The Shi'ar then learn that X-Force (mostly Warpath and Siryn) let Pulse escape through another transmission. The Shi'ar leave most displeased. As X-Force enjoys some downtime, Pulse is across the universe in search of the one being who can help him: the Silver Surfer. DenouementIn Egypt, Cyclops and Cable find the Citadel of Apocalypse. The enter and find a sarcophagus that they believe helps to restore Apocalypse. Instead of destroying it or doing any meaningful research, the men discuss family issues and then go home when it starts to rain.
