The last part of "NEW MUTANTS" sees a final battle between the X-Men and the Sentinels in the heart of Washington, D.C. How will the not-so-merry mutants deal with the awful aftermath?
Sentinels have attacked the debut press conference of Emma Frost's government-sponsored mutant team.
With Beast lying dead on the steps of the capitol building, Storm flies into a rage, attacking the sentinels and further endangering the people present at the press conference. Professor X incapacitates her while the rest of the X-Men safely bring the Sentinels down. The X-Men then, shielded from the perception of members of the public, collect Beast's body and return to Westchester.
Nick Fury arrives on site, and with a presidential mandate, sets out to apprehend the parties responsible for the Sentinel attack.
