After Reed Richards surrenders to the Squadron Supreme for possibly killing millions on their world, the heroes of the Ultimate Universe begin to form a plan to save him. As Fury plans to prepare a strike team to follow Reed as soon as someone figures out how to get to that dimension, Spider-Man gets an idea. Looking at Thor, he figures with Mjolnir, he can open a dimensional portal while the energy trail is still fresh and they can all follow. Thor opens a portal and the heroes follow along in the hellicarrier. In the other dimension, the government figures it will be possible for others to follow them since Reed was able to send a probe there in the first place. Hyperion is above the planet monitoring the world for anything out of the ordinary. In a lab, Reed is trying to figure out what caused all the deaths. It looks familiar to Reed but he cannot pinpoint it. He figures the spores must have attached themselves to the probe from one dimension before it arrived here. Reed was sure he designed it so that nothing organic could stick to it. Just as the hellicarrier is about to arrive, Kitty Pryde is sent by Captain America to find Fury. As she looks and phases into a room, she overhears part of a conversation between Nick and someone else. They say that it's important that they find and rescue Reed before he can get his hands on one of the probes. Nick says after a couple seconds he'd be able to figure it out. Nick walks Kitty away before she can see who he was talking to. Power Princess tries to convince Hyperion that he cannot save everyone and should only save those who will obey him.
