Donny Cates writes Venom once again, alongside guest artist Salvador Larroca! In this team-up of kings, Thor, King of Asgard, and Eddie Brock, King in Black, must set aside their personal differences to save the one thing they both love: Earth! Thor asks Loki to repair the Bi-Frost Bridge after Thor destroyed it while under in influence of Hulk's gamma radiation. The task seems overwhelming for even Loki, and that is when Loki suggests not fixing the bidge but instead using other magics. Thor agrees to try it but when Loki opens a portal a demon comes through into Asgard. Thor soon recognizes the demon as Darkoth, but he is covered in back ooze and is on a mindless rampage. Darkoth fights Thor and then flees into Asgard. Before Thor, Loki and Sif can follow, the black ooze that Darkoth left behind forms Venom. Venom explains that he and Eddie Brock are now the King In Black and Darkoth has bonded with a symbiont. Venom offers to help stop Darkoth and they follow Darkoth to Asgard. There Darkoth over powers Venom and then shows off it's new power to replecate any weapon, and creates it's own Mjolnir.
