In the conclusion to this miniseries, Ray is in space, desperately searching to find a way to communicate with a sentient light being about to destroy Earth.
The Ray battles time, space and his own mind to stop the light being and Dr. Polaris. when all is over Ray still has to deal with his adoptive father's death and the broken relationships with his birth father and Jenny Jurden.
