After Josiah Power is dismissed from his job as an attorney at a law firm for exhibiting metahuman traits in court -- a result of his exposure to the metagene bomb in Invasion -- he decides to form a team of superheroes for hire. Members of the Power Company are Manhunter, Skyrocket, Witchfire, Bork, Sapphire and Striker Z.
