The Huntress intercedes in a battle over turf between the mobs of Little Italy and Chinatown even as she continues tracking down her family's murderer with a clue that strikes at her heart.
It is the street gang, Jade Phantoms and the mafia (that killed Helena Bertinelli's father Franco Bertinelli) that are in conflict over a small golden box that contains the hands and eyes of Helena's father.
Huntress is faced with getting the box and fighting between two two groups of criminals.
Meanwhile a young girl named Susan Ho is in love with a boy named Jimmy Cheng. Jimmy is a top member of the Jade Phantoms. Susan is so in love with Jimmy that she fantasizes saving him. She even follows him around without is knowledge believing she will be there when he needs her.
