New York Police Department Darklings

When Jackie is shot just before sundown, the Darklings take him to Dr. Fang's house for treatment; Dr. Fang is less than thrilled about this since when she was a med student, she owed Jackie's uncle a lot of money and Jackie had forced her to have sex with him as an "alternative payment plan"; Meanwhile, someone impersonating Jackie has taken his place in the company of the Don.
